Stopped at the footbridge which crosses the dock next to the Excel centre tonight so I could get a shot of a plane coming into land at the City Airport.
Liked the fact someone had gone canoeing and was in just about the right spot as the plane came in.... Also caught another plane on route to Heathrow, the new Air Line cable car and some pedestrians walking along the dockside (not that yu can see them) and the tiny black dot just right of Canary Wharf is a helicopter...
I've actually taken this type of shot a few times but it's quite a nice view, docks, cranes, Canary Wharf and the O2 and hey... It beats a flower pic.!!
Was supposed to go to the launch of a street photo exhibition tonight, but Sangeeta had to work late so we'll go another time...
