I have to admit I'm really pleased with this shot. Neil noticed this coal tit was first nesting and now feeding through a hole in our garden wall and I just had to go and take some shots, hanging out of the passenger window of the stationary car on our drive to stay out of the way and yet be able to look down the length of the wall. The coat tit was very obliging, stopping each time to look around before entering the nest and I love this bright green caterpillar that is about to be munched by hungry beaks inside.
@moviegal1@andyr@lafish@onewing@perspectivesimages@ragnhildmorland@idieh71 Sorry for the group reply everyone but want to spend my catch up time looking at all your lovely projects. Thanks so much for your time viewing my photos and for the comments and favs particularly on this one. It's nice to be able to share the occasional photo that you're genuinely proud of!
Does anyone else feel sorry for the caterpillar? Maybe it was hoping for a brief life as an amazing butterfly. Lovely shot, Angela. 'bout time you got some of your birds entered in competitions.
