Through the gates to Eyam Hall

We visited Eyam in Derbyshire today; this is the place that is know as The Plague Village.

The village is noted for an outbreak of bubonic plague which occurred there in 1665, in which the villagers chose to isolate themselves rather than let the infection spread.

This beautiful Jacobean Manor House has been lived in by the family since it was built by Thomas Wright in 1672.
Your composition is wonderful here. You have everything squared up so nicely.
