It is. It's a hybrid Aloe that is being used to great effect in urban plantings in Melbourne CBD. The colour really pops against
the buildings especially on grey, wintry days.@peadar

I just went to the Australian garden - one section in our Botanical garden, Our flowers are a lot smaller, maybe not hot enough here for them.

Strictly speaking they are a naturalised plant rather than a native Australian species but they do grow well here and the climate suits them. The cross-pollinated hybrid varieties with their amazing flowers are truly spectacular. @yaorenliu
