Old dray, Heathcote Victoria by ankers70

Old dray, Heathcote Victoria

This old dray sits forlornly in the shadows of the gums surrounding the old Heathcote powder magazine. The Magazine, now heritage listed, was constructed in 1864 by the then colonial Public Works Department for the McIvor gold diggings. Around the building, are many remnants of an earlier energetic, even frenzied search for gold.

I liked the shadow lines and I thought sepia suited the times.
Perfect treatment for this! Very nice!

I do, as well, and I feel an urge to make a record as so much of 'the old stuff' (including me! LOL) is deteriorating.
