On Saturday we had The Roots (Juuret) happening in the Library of Kerava. There were talks and music all day long. Author and scientist Anna Kortelainen told us about the book she is writing about her maternal grandfather Reino whom she never met. He was born in Vyborg which was a Finnish town at the time. Now it is behind the Eastern border. It is not easy to find facts for the book also because many papers were burnt during the war. Anna seems to like the flowers she got after her talk.
