I have decided to try to make elderberry jam this year. I've located quite a few growing by a creek, and hope to harvest some when they ripen. I have never done it before, so not sure when they will be ripe, but I think late August.
Nice full bushes - I've seen berries that look like these - wonder if that's what they are. Don't know berries at all. Will have to watch them for ripening and check with someone who knows.
