I had 5 different classes for an hour each today spanning grades 2 - 6 and kindergarten. I did art with them - we drew the daisy in the photograph. I have selected 14 of the artworks ( most are unfinished ) that caught my eye for various reasons - the four on the bottom such interesting interpretations I had to include them . The other centre image is the piece I worked on throughout the day to show the kids different ideas and techniques. It was a great day from the time I woke to the time I went to sleep.
@karenmatthews thanks Karen - I just guide them - demonstrate how i would do it and then let them go for it and help with any ideas they might want - it is fun - i really enjoy it -
Great posting to capture the range of their imaginations. Do you teach art in one school or a district or some other situation? What fun that would be!
