Visited Cockatoo Island over the weekend - what a great place to wander - so much to see so many good photo opportunities!
Cockatoo Island is the largest island in Sydney Harbour and was once a green domed island, much like the other natural islands in Sydney Harbour. Over time the island has been transformed and its sandstone carved to create workshops, docks and slipways to support maritime activity.
There are so many great windows and the light was great for reflections and some were great to look from inside out - so this week in this album I am focusing on WINDOWS!
These windows were grungy and full of dark cobwebs.
You know, when I'm in a public place that has dirty windows I always want to find who's in charge and tell them to clean them. A pet peeve of mine really. You made the best of this with the photo tilt and the way the background sets off the grunge.
