Can never remember what the difference is between an alligator and a crocodile. So it is probably one or the other. I hope you had plenty of zoom on this one.

@onewing teeth and head shape but I usually forget the teeth bit hahahaha - he was only about two metres away but behind thick glass :)

Very expressive close up…

Alligators have a narrower snout, don’t they? And caimans even narrower than that.

@bankmann caimans narrow yes but gators have a rounder snout more a U shape and crocs narrower more a V shape - but with crocs you can see upper and lower teeth when the jaw is closed - I absolutely love this guy and even though he often does nothing but lay there I could watch him for ages just waiting for him to move

@bankmann hahahaha sorry for the biology lesson - lol - they are not in the wild in Sydney but up North they are - swimming in Northern Queensland and the Northern Territory best done in swimming pools hahaha
