Very clever shot Annie. Is that a wasp? I was stung by one the other day and have had all sorts of bothers and pain since then. Slowly recovering now, but with a nasty open sore in a previously blistered area. Not happy.
@golftragic pretty sure it's not a wasp- think it's a hoverfly - daughter was stung by a few of the small wasps the other day - she bumped their hive - the stings hurt for a while but nothing too bad - years ago I was stung by a big wasp - it hurt like hell and was sore and swollen for a couple of days - hope your're feeling better ASAP
@annied Thanks Annie. I'll spare you the sad and sorry tale, but I got a full sac of whatever venom it was. A fairly large part of my arm swelled up a bit, got very red and crazy itchey. Then a small blister appeared, got heaps and heaps bigger, whole thing painful and itchy --> to the GP --> antibiotics and cortisone + antihistamines from the chemist. Going down now, but still giving me gyp!!!

@golftragic I don't know if this will work on your bee stings, but if I do get stung I immediately put Worcestershire sauce on the sting. It takes out the poison and keeps the swelling down. Works almost instantly! I was stung by a Bald-faced Hornet once- incredibly painful! But the w. sauce took the pain right away and there was very little swelling afterwards. I think it should work for you two if you should need it in the future!
