Definitely looks better in my opinion. Sometimes if a shot is a bit flat you can change it on the curves in Photoshop and make a bit of an S curve on it which increases the contrast but also increases the brightness too. Always good to have a play.
@onewing You keep teaching me new things, Babs! I had no idea what the curves adjustment was so I looked it up and I've been practicing it today. I'm guessing that the "S" curve refers to the line on the graph that appears while your making adjustments--make it sort of like an "S" to start with. (I'll need to look that up.) Anyway, thank you so very much for your input; I really appreciate hearing your ideas! I used the curves adjustment in Photoshop with the next photo, "Evergreen Branches," and I can see more dimension in it. Very cool stuff! Have a great day!
