Yesterday was a special day for my husband, not a birthday, just his two-year anniversary. We decided at that time that we would celebrate the 29 September every year, by doing something special. We could not go out yesterday as our tiler was here, so we went to Cromer today. There were plenty of stops for coffee, lunch etc., and before coming home we went to the Lifeboat café for coffee and cake. They had the best gluten-free carrot cake that I have ever had; we must go to Cromer more often! We walked a lot and observed the strengthening of the sea wall; there were a lot of workmen and JCB type vehicles on the promenade, but plenty of room for people to walk. The sky was blue, the sun was shining, although at times it was a little breezy; it was an excellent day out.
