I found this photo in one of my photo magazines and tried to replicate it with watercolours, because of the white paper I made the flower pink. It was a difficult project because it was a macro photo. Jacqueline
Can't tell who painted this, but Oh! My goodness! Really wonderful! The photo for inspiration is terrific too! You are quite an accomplished artist and watercolorist!
Jacqueline ( @jacqbb ) this is so stunningly beautiful!! The detail around the wings, the stripy antennae and those eyes! I'm glad I'm not allowed to compare myself to you, I'd feel most inadequate!!
@summerfield If my father would’ve allowed it.......maybe. But for 30 years I worked in administration for several companies and after that I worked for 10 years with disabled people. This is the first time I can try new things. You’re a great painter so don’t doubt yourself!
i was viewing all the 'butterflies' photos on 365 and there is this lady, carol white, whose butterfly photos occupied most of the 39 or so pages. her handle is @ cjwhite. @jacqbb jacqueline, if you want more butterflies to paint you should check out her photos.
this is awesome but i'm scared of those legs which almost seem like spider legs! lovely colours, too. aces!
i wish i could be as good as everyone here. like photography, i'm AGNI!!!!
But i am forever grateful for your vote of confidence.
Of course I would have been proud too, had this been mine.
@serendypyty Thank you Cazzi!
@kjarn Thanks Kathy!
@summerfield I checked her photos, just wow! Thanks for mentioning her!
