This is not a shot from today... I took this photo on October 1st 2016... but I still want to post this as todays photo... because it's a photo of our Turkish Van Cat, Sil. Last Thursday she had surgery on her left hine leg and had some kind of adverse reaction to the anastethics (blood in the urine and too high kidney counts showing up in blood work), so we have been worried sick about her (we don't have any human children, so our two Turkish Van Cats are our children :-)). Spoke to the veterinarian today - Sil is doing much better - in fact she's doing so well that we are allowed to get her home today... I just can't wait to se her again. I've been worried sick about her and it will be so great to have her back home again.

Thank you so much for your comments on my photo of Sil... it means more to me than I can express here that you took the time to post a comment here... It's been a rough week, and your comments have lifted my heart and my spirit - so thank you :-). Sil is definately getting better... she's wearing a big cast on her left hine leg which is making it difficult for her to move around, but she has such a gentle mind and positive spirit and seems to accept her current state without too much frustration. It's such a relief to see her on the mend. Thanks again for all your kind comments. Wish you a great day from sunny but frosty Denmark.
@egoodine WOW - she made it to the Popular and Trending pages... WOW - thanks for pointing this out to me... otherwise I wouldn't have noticed.... That's awesome :-) :-)
