"Caught" this beautiful dahlia outside our local flower shop…
It's named Dahlia after the Swedish botanist Andreas Dahl (1751-1789) and Georgine after the german botanist Johann Gottlieb Georgi (1729-1802). In Denmark the flower is known under both names, but Georgine is probably most common here.
