Every day on my way to work I travel by the motor highway E45 going North (the road on the right side half of this photo) and for about a mile just before my exit the motor highway is joined by this narrow gravel road (to the left in the picture). The two roads are only separated by a narrow ditch and a small strip of grass.
I've always found this to be an interesting contrast - a meeting of opposites so to speak: The smooth asphalt motor highway to the right where cars travel at speeds around 130 kilometers per hour, and the gravel road to the left, where the road is so bumpy and uneven that you wouldn't feel comfortable travelling at speeds higher than 20 kilometers per hour...
