A Pale Grey Horse

This is the prow of the now retired freighter DS Hestmanden (lit. 'the horse man', meaning 'horse handler'), built 1911, as ship no. 104 at Laxevaags Maskin & Jernskibsbyggeri in Bergen. In addition to cargo, it could also take 100 passengers. From a visit to Oslo last month.

More info: http://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/DS_«Hestmanden» (Unfortunately no English translation.)

Taken with 'The Monstrosity'; a Lensbaby 3G at f/5.6, with the Lensbaby 0.6x Wide Angle Lens attachment.

I'm loving all your fun work with 'The Monstrosity'. Great composition on this one. The gray freighter against the wonderful layers of gray clouds, and the light play on the chains. Great shot.

What an interesting pov. And the sky is so wild--I can't help but keep looking at it.

Thank you, guys! :-)
I've sort of let The Monstrosity become my lb14-choice-of-tool... I needed to get to grips with the Lensbaby 3G (precursor to Control Freak, Muse and Spark), as a lot of Lensbaby beginners on 365 do get themselves a bellows type Lensbaby, and I felt I needed to understand their experience a bit better. And I'm happy I did. Lensbaby equals fun in any combination, is my experience. It's challenging, yes, but you do get a lot of fun out of it. ;-p

brilliant - I am hoping soon to get a lensbaby of some description if things work out hehehe
I love this very much!

Thank you so much for the fav, Annie! :-D
Given what you've done so far on 365, it'll be thrilling to see what you can get out of a Lensbaby...!
