Saturday a couple of friends took me to a classical concert with the Nordic Harmony - a symphony orchestra that has no conductor. The concert was held in Ridehuset - The Riding House - an old military riding hall at Akershus Fortress.
My father was a keen listener of classical music, so this symphony was no stranger to me. The performance was excellent and quite enjoyable. Didn't hurt that the dinner afterwards was very satisfying, too... :-)
Tchaikovsky is such a difficult name to spell! I like your version even if it does require a bit of spitting! Love that music - sounds like a great night!
@maggiemae
The Scandinavian spelling is the closest to the Russian, so I prefer that...;-p
But the pronunciation is pretty much similar. Music, however, is a world language. ;-p The night was indeed enjoyable.

Thank you! :-) It was a very nice evening, indeed.
Thank you! :-)
They really 'got into it'. It was lively at times. One of the base player actually started stomping the beat... ;-p
