Step over the Cathedral wall - 26-03

Salisbury Cathedral boundary wall. Now I look at it why didn't I move the bench!!!! Frustrated.
I like this - the textures and the wall that carries your eye into the frame. Fav

I like the bench....and all the others lined up along the wall. It probably keeps people from sitting on the wall. Very effective pov.

Rob, I honestly didn't notice the bench until I read your caption. The wall's leading lines immediately dragged my attention to the top and background of the shot, not the foreground. I really like the crookedness of the wall--it reminds me of the saying "God draws straight with crooked lines". Well done!

Great lines in this, and a reminder of my time living in Salisbury. Fav

I think I would like it without the bench too....but I really like it in there. It adds so much interest. I can't stop looking at it. I like it in b&w too.

Great leading lines, love how the old wall isn't straight.

I don't see anything wrong with the bench being in the shot. Very good B+W.

I think it works and is very pleasing but yes, the bench closer into the wall may have helped to give an even tighter lead through the image. I love the framing through the handrail. Very clever.
