Fantastic close up! I had tree wasps in a bird box in the garden last year (they did feature on here last summer!) and it was fascinating watching the nest grow and observing the wasps. I found a beautiful natural hornets nest in a hollow ash tree too last summer :)
Amazing close up! These are fantastic insects and their building skills are incredible. Lucky you! I have a bumble bee nest in an old nest box this year.......nest boxes must be in this year! fav!
