A guard of barons by barrowlane

A guard of barons

Last stand for the Salisbury Barons before they are auctioned of for charity at the end of the week. I wanted to get a photo of the front, back and description plate of each one before they were sold. This involved kneeling on one knee and standing about 75 times. I have now rediscovered my thigh muscle as it is really really painful.
How funny & I bet you looked funny too but well done for photographing each one. These are so unusual, will be very interesting auction, I hope you are going to tell us how much they make each!

They look magnificent all in a row. All that kneeling and standing, I guess spectators thought you were being knighted.

How interesting! I love things like this - we saw the Dragons in Norwich created by the Wild Art Company, and they also did the Owls in Leicester and surrounding area. Fascinating to see. Great shot this one, I love the light and the shadows.
