I have been neglecting my farming photograpy lateley so took the chance to join my son who was helping a neighbour on their farm this afternoon to grab some shots.
Because of the wet conditions on the land here the cows after being let out on to pasture after being housed for the winter had to be brought back in. This had quite a dramatic effect on their milk production so to compensate they are being fed grass that has been mowed from the pasture. They have now been able to go out again but are still being fed some fresh grass supplement as well.
