I recently got access to a 3D printer. I found a very nice model of a science-fiction 4 legged spider tank on line ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2641225), so I've decided to print one.
The model is in around 10 pieces, and most of them will take a couple hours each to print, so it'll take a while.
Shown in blue are the freshly printed main cannon and turret. I also printed a spare main cannon and did a test paint job on it, with my new air brush. I think I need more practice with the air brush...
@graemestevens - I'm playing with a Monoprice Maker Select V2, which goes for around $300. It's pretty good, for the price. You have to like tinkering with things. There are a ton of settings that can effect the quality of your print.
