I decided Grandpa's reciprocating saw need a better case than the cardboard box it came it. I threw this together from some leftover 3/4" plywood I had kicking around.
I actually made this box twice, since the first time I made it, it wouldn't close on the saw. I based the height of the first case off of the height of the cardboard box the saw came in. It didn't occur to me that the saw was actually bigger than the box it came in from the factory, and that box only closes because cardboard is flexible. Lesson learned.
