This is a "Snap Ship". A space ship made from a lego-like kit of parts, but instead general purpose bricks, it's all space ship parts. They do a good job of hiding the fact that it's core is mostly a bunch of cubes. The kit comes with instruction to build 3 different ships from the same kit, but you can build whatever you want.
