I picked up a aftermarket servo motor for my 1/24th scale RC truck. This is what turns the wheels left or right when you steer.
This one is supposed to be better than the plastic-geared one the truck comes with. I took the lid off to see what's inside. Turns out it's brass gears. Nice.
So I grabbed my camera and used my macro extension tube set, my macro slider rails, and an LED light, to get a photo of something this small.
