thanks ladies!! he does get to take art in school, and he has been having private art lessons over the summer. he LOVES it. he's just not sure yet if he wants to be an artist, a veterinarian, a video game designer, or an inventor. (:
and i can't wait for it to come back from the framer!!
Wow, this is awesome Brett. He has a great talent, and at this age, look how much more he will grow. Tell him I think it is a wonderful piece of work. He has every right to smile proudly.
That is fantastic--something he will always treasure. Thanks for comments on mine. Much appreciated. I think you do a great job. Always stuff to learn and I can be obsessive when I am interested in something. Been reading Scott Kelby's "the digital photography book". Read vol 1 tonite. Very easy and practical with great ideas to try. Easy to skip around in and still be ok. Check it out. Also, you're near OKC? Here is a good photographer there. http://www.dejahquinn.com/portfolio.htm
Wow, Brett, that's just exceptional! I'd say the summer lessons really paid off! It's wonderful that he can have any profession he wants to follow in his adult life and still create art as well! He's definitely got talent, and I can see easily why you'd want to frame this! Tell him I said, "Fabulous!"
you guys, thanks so much!! my son loves to read the comments on my 365--especially when the photo involves him! he feels so special!! truly, thank you for all your sweet words!!
No way! Amazing, I am very impressed. It is awesome and such a wonderful treasure forever. It is definately worthy of a frame. He is an artist and should keep on painting, don't stop. Where will it hang? How old is Charlie?
Did you somehow get "un-followed" in my project? Did I never ever follow you? I dunno. Just fixed that, whatever happened. Again, excellent work both of you. :)
and i can't wait for it to come back from the framer!!
I hope he keeps painting and doing artsy things like this...he can only get better....
