well, i guess it could have been worse. my boy had his first bike wreck today, and left a great deal of his skin on the pavement. sorry for the gruesome collage, but it was a pretty memorable event for the day. i'm just thankful this is the extent of his injuries!
for the curious: (from left) hand, hip, thigh, knee. ouch.
An instant replay of my Son's accident when he was small. We had to literally use a brush on his knee to clean out the tar. Ouch, this looks painful. He's a trooper though and it will not hold him back.
Ouch! Unfortunately it's safe to say it won't be his last either given his affinity to riding. I've left my fair share of skin & blood on the road over the years. Definitely a reminder to always wear a helmet and gloves. Glad he's okay.
