easy easel

i feel so crafty! i went with my sis-in-law today to a fun vintage/antique store (my favorite kind of store!), and picked up a couple of old forks for $1. this evening i used some needle-nose pliers to bend the tines into a little easel for a 'vintage' photo of my oldest eating pasta with--what else--a fork! (see? crafty!)

**i got this idea from a photo-project book called 'photojojo!' that i ordered from www.photojojo.com. it is a fun website with lots of cool ideas and a store full of fun gadgets for photography.
Hey thats so cool , I love that Idea for a photo frame, I am always looking out for ideas for mother's day presents for my students, and this is just what I've been looking for. and great photo of that handsome guy!!

@nikkers don't choose sterling--it's too hard to bend! this one is silverplate.

I love antique shops, but steer clear anymore as I have little room left to add extras! This, however, seems a small and clever idea and would allow me to make a usable purchase! Come to think of it...I probably have extras from my ebay hayday! Love that you have a project here to share, and a funny baby picture to go along!

@plp @ashleyjwilson @lovesscrapn @hcochrane @rudit @michelle @vness @christifitz @aventura1577 @clarissajohal @paulcleveland @robinsong @jhammes @Weezilou @gabssweetie thanks all!! if any of you plan on doing this little project, know that it took a bit of muscle, and patience in trying to get it to sit evenly. also, it roughs up the tines a bit--you may want to use a file to smooth any rough spots out.
