Euodia buds

These are the buds of the Australian Native Euodia Tree (Melicope elleryana). The flowers attract birds and butterflies including the beautiful Ulysses butterfly.

Sheralee, when you see the Ulysses in your garden, wear a bright red top or hat and stand still in the sun. There's a good chance the Butterfly will land on you. I have had several land on me by doing that...

@bella_ss - I have Ulysses in my yard and yeah, there are a few around Town... I accidentally photographed one at the Palmetume one day when lining up a Lotus Lilly. I will have to go look at my flickr to see...
