Dinner time by bella_ss

Dinner time

Yellow crested cockatoos having a free feed at the local grain silos. There would have been a hundred or so birds there.

No, they are not zombie birds as Kass suggests ;-)
Looks like you have zombie birds! This first one on the left eating the head, the middle one has already lost its head and the one on the right about to do the dirty deed. Eeeekk.... not visiting you! ;)

How cool to see these in the wild. Do they have green underwings or is that a shadow on the flying one? Great capture!

April 4th, 2013
@russianblue @kdimagery Hehe, yeah I had to use the 200mm, these guys are scary ;-)

@pflaume @dannydavies There was actually about 100 or more, it was near some grain silos so they get a free feed each day. Lisa, under the wings is yellow, the colour is probably a bit off.

@happysnap They are yellow crested cockatoos Linda, I probably should have put that in the description.

@chezza I prefer to think they are kissing and not one eating the other, lol! @russianblue I think Kass needs to get some colour back in her life, she's been sneaking around dark allies for too long ;-)
