My first shot for my Get Pushed challenge by Chris @chris_mcewan to photograph something "mechanical". I have lots of nature shots in my album so I've sort of incorporated the two here :)
This is an old watch of my husband's, when we took the back off we could see the case is all 9ct gold. I wound it and it still works! That's Swiss quality for you.

This is an absolutely gorgeous photo, so creative and uniquely composed. Since you said you combined nature with mechanical in this shot, am I correct in assuming that's a plant tendril holding the watch? Can't wait to show this photo to my husband who declined to allow me to take the back off his watch so I could photograph the gears for "G" in my alphabetic macro project. :)

I love that you've managed to incorporate your style of photography into this shot. The light is beautiful and the natural background is a lovely contrast to the mechanical watch.
FAVed! This is fabulous. It is very much in the style of Arefin, who I was glad to see, rejoined the 365ers yesterday after a 2 month break. I think that a lot of us were influenced by him.
