Eye in colour

Belinda, gave me a push to photograph an eye in macro.
I would like opinions on which is best... colour or b&w. I love the b&w but I also like how you can see the green trees, my shirt and also the lovely brown colour of Amelia's eyes. Definitely a bucket list shot for macro march.

I think this is the best eye-shot I've ever seen on 365. Although the b & w is good, I prefer the color because it shows off the skin tones and eye color so beautifully. That reflection is awesome! Great job and a fav!

Both are great images but I think this colour one has the edge for me as it really shows off the beautiful colour of the eye.

I can imagine this photo will be a treasured one for life. I sure wish I'd thought to take macro shots of my kids' eyes when they were smaller. Thsi is so special. There are attributes of both the colored version and the b/w that like I so it's hard to pick a favorite.
