My granddaughters had a netball carnival this weekend so I went along to watch and take some photos. I loved watching them play a team sport and see the interactions with their team mates. I liked this shot of my granddaughter shadowing her opponent, they seemed to be moving as one. She turns 14 in a couple of weeks and she's already taller than me!
Thanks so much for the wonderful response to my strawberries and milk shot. It was messy but eating the props was the best part.
My daughter plays netball (she's 12), and you don't dare pull a camera out. They don't allow photography where she plays. It's ridiculous, I understand about warding off the wierdo's, but I just don't have any photos of my daughter playing her favourite sport...
Fantastic shot... I spend a lot of my Saturday's with camera on the sideline of netball court... get some great action shots... @tomtom That is so sad that you can't get some photo's of your girl.. being PC just goes too far at times...
@tomtom That's such a shame that it's got to that point Andrew. I'm glad it's not like that here yet. I suppose we are lucky because everyone knows everyone else in a small town.
