This was at the start of the electrical storm. I think it was the most strikes I have ever seen in one storm, there were hundreds. This was almost monotone except for a tiny bit of blue sky on the right.

Fav. Wow, that was some storm! I don't mind lightning as long as its not close. How wonderful to be able to see and catch views as magnificent as this one.
Beautiful. Capturing a really great lightning storm is still on my bucket list - couple of attempts here and there but I would be really pleased with this!!
Amazing, brilliant, impressive capture! You've become a pro at catching lightening strikes. I'm not crazy about stormy weather — it too often leads to tornado threats around here, but your pictures have me wishing for the chance to try and shot a performance by Mother Nature like this. (It didn't storm once last summer... strangest season on record. No complaints though about the lack of twisters.)
@terryliv Thanks Poppo! It was just a single exposure but it was 30 seconds and I had to reduce to about ten seconds at times because there were so many strikes that the shots were totally blown out.
