Merry needs to clean those toy baskets! She's been rummaging in them twice today between naps, but never seems to find what she's looking for.
She's not going to be happy tomorrow morning when we go to the vets again. I noticed a little scab on what seems to be another itchy spot on her face this time. It's small and well hidden at the moment. I'm sick over it, not being able to find out yet what is irritating her skin. Food? We've limited her to rabbit for the last month after stopping chicken, turkey and fish. If it's dust mites, there's not much to be done in a house that's 127 years old. We shall see. We never see her scratch( it's all in private I guess) and she certainly doesn't act like anything is amiss. Right now she loves me very much, dancing over the keyboard performing her best Abyssinian food dance. The performance usually starts at 3 every afternoon since the time change last autumn. She leaps on and off the bed like a flea in the morning for breakfast, this morning that activity began at 4:14. We managed to stay put until almost 6.
I retired from public school teaching after happily spending twenty eight years playing in Kindergarten. Now I fill my days watching cat antics, taking endless...
Two has only one basket and she was driving me crazy poking in it at a toy that once touched made noise for a few moments. I took the toy out of the basket and set it on the floor and she has ignored it. I once had a cat that licked all the hair off her stomach. She had a nervous condition that may have come about from the fact that we moved several times and I was working more. We stayed put and the licking stopped.
