I painted today with my painting-mates via Zoom. I started a small painting, it's a a surprise. This is the second surprise painting I've worked on recently. The first one is drying a bit more so it can be mailed. I'm really pleased with my start today, happily tired. My brushes and old painting shirt all needed a good wash. It's time to order some new brushes, cleaning solution and hand soap. I'd love to go into Boston to Dick Blick and wander about, but ordering online makes me less nervous these days.
Speaking of ordering, I placed an order this morning for an iPhone 13Pro Max. I'll trade in my 11Pro Max. I'll pick it up at a local Apple Store on September 24th. Apple stores all follow strict Covid protocols. I'm excited for the new camera. I never dreamed that I would ever rely so much on my phone camera. The cameras have come a long way since 2007, but I have a printed photograph of Raspberry that I took with the first i phone, it's one of my favorites.
