The chilly weather

The chilly weather has finally arrived at Dogcorner, we turned on the gas fireplace this evening. It was a lovely crisp autumn day. We're still surrounded by lush green leaves, but the weather is finally dry and chilly. Merry has been tucked away in her warmest spots or following sunbeams all through the day.

We has wind late yesterday afternoon. Brr. Two alternated between cuddling in my comforter and dashing around like a young kitten. A fireplace is such a good thing on a cool October evening.
