T was trying out her ukulele tuner early this evening. The ukulele was a Christmas present, but this was the first time Merry had heard what happens when the strings get plucked. She was a bit shocked, as you can see. New additions to the house should always be run by the feline in charge, obviously we were remiss with this item. Permission for strumming has now been granted.

This day came in warmer with a wild wind this afternoon. It's rainy now, so most of our snow is gone. Very cold weather is predicted for Tuesday, so I hope we don't have an ice situation to deal with.

Ha ha, that must indeed have been a shock, well at least it wasn't a banjo.. (or insert the generally joked about instrument of your milieu - I've heard bodhrans, accordions, and violas can get the same shtick...)
