What the geranium saw! by berelaxed

What the geranium saw!

We've had very cold temperatures and snowflakes falling softly all day, on and off. The birds and beasties have been feeding heavily, flocks of starlings, turkeys and squirrels gobbling up seeds on the patio. The smaller birds get a chance at the feeders when they can. They will be spending a very cold night, so they need to bulk up.

The geranium in the upstairs front window was glad to be inside, so am I. It was bitterly cold as I refilled the feeders. I've been in the loft most of the day at my easel, staying cozy.

For the Record,
This day came in cold. It will be a cold weekend with some snow predicted for us, south of Boston.

All hands wary
Cool pic!

Mother nature is making things even out after the warm December day. I remember wondering then if we would see much snow or even truly cold days. Not much snow but truly cold days. Haven't had a walk for weeks because of ice and freezing temps.
