Mrs. Oriole has been back and for collecting wool for her basket nest. It's and amazing creation, an an actual woven, hanging basket. Last year we were able to see her finished nest, that's often rare as they are high in the tree tops.
We had a small beastie shock today. T was sitting out on the patio taking a rest between a million jobs. We have both been busy today getting things done before my surgery on Monday. Suddenly she saw this small slim animal around the patio, the wall and actually near here chair. I was on the phone with an old friend. She made a sign for me to come out quietly and it appeared again, a weasel!! They are nocturnal we read, so who knows why it was out, it did not look ill at all.
