The squirrels are making quick work of the leftover Halloween pumpkins. It's almost time for Christmas decorating, one of my most favorite things. But, wasn't it just Christmas?
We got the rest of the outside things in, cleaned the patio from the 'gifts' the turkeys leave and installed the snow stakes in the driveway. The last job was buttoning up the piazza. We leave the screens on, much to Merry's delight on warm days, but cover the wooden furniture out there. That's done as well. T is still coughing and I'm still bothered by some eye itching in the morning, but we're much better.
We have to find a new series to watch. We have binged a great Australian family melodrama on Acorn TV, A Place to Call Home, which we loved. Sort of an Aussie Downton Abbey. We are great fans of a wonderful Australian actor, Marta Dusseldorp, who starred in the 6 seasons. We've seen her in Janet King, Crownies and Jack Irish.
