We visited one of our favorite beaches, the Flaggy Shore after the gorgeous sunrise today. The fossilized rocks are amazing.
The holes in the rocks at Ireland's Flaggy Shore are from ancient fossils (like corals) and modern marine life (piddock shellfish burrowing), plus ancient glacial scraping creating grooves, all set in Carboniferous limestone from when it was a tropical seabed, creating unique patterns like biokarst.

We took a drive to Ennistymon, where we stayed for my 75th Birthday adventure. We love the town and surprised our artist friend, Sarah Foust. We had a lovely chat and were in awe of her new paintings. Today was our last day for this trip, but there will be another, we’ve fallen under the spell of this country, the landscape and lovely people.
We’re having dinner soon at Monks Hotel where we are staying and leaving from Shannon tomorrow afternoon. Home to Dogcorner Cottage and Fianna and Raven. Greg has sent us daily videos, they have had a great time with him.

I have certainly enjoyed your fabulous trip. My friends and I would love to travel like this on our own, but none of us want to drive. Driving on the continent is fine. Look forward to more of your travels.
