These statues which I found ,were at a garden centre, and are small replicas of the Moai-the monolithic statues of Easter Island . The Moai were carved by the Raga Nui people from the rock on the Chilean Polynesian island of Easter Island between 1250---1500.
Nearly half of the 887 statues are still at the Rano Raraku --the main Moai quarry ,but hundreds were transported and put on stone platforms around the island's perimeter ,all facing inland across the clan land
Why a Celtic cross with the Moai --I do not know !! but it makes quite a nice display for selling purposes !!
