As much as I hate to deprive this little bright yellow Welsh poppy of its beautiful natural colour -I must admit the B/W treatment is not completely alien !!-- and after all suitable for the b/w fortnight (water)-- plenty water droplets to be had these days !
Beautiful detail and lovely focus on the drops Beryl. I'm seeing quite a few rainy shots today, think we have been luckier than most as we have had a couple of days of lovely warm sunshine.
I can't quite believe that you have offered a flower shot without colour, Beryl! This is fantastic! The framing, the water droplets, the dark background, the focus, the light, the detail, the texture, the composition, the format, the presentation…. all work together to create a little masterpiece! FAV! Obviously!
@yrhenwr Ha ha David !! -- but it can be converted back to full colour for my pleasure !!! Even I have to experiment from time to time--- and to be honest I am quite thrilled with the result -- Never too old to learn and be converted--- if only grudgingly !! lol !!!!
