I went out to the garden to hear this melodious song and looking up to the large fir tree in the next door garden I saw this blackbird singing his heart out !-- such a beautiful song !!
Not been the best of days today !! While cooking the lunch this morning I decided to bake a cake-- while doing this I let my potatoes boil dry -- but just rescued them before the were ruined !! Enjoyed our lunch and fell asleep afterwards - only to wake up to find my cake was over-baked and ruined ! I think I had better refrain from cooking again tonight !
@skipt07 I wouldn't dream of putting a stop to his beautiful song , however with my history in the kitchen today I would not think of cooking anything else today !!
Great pov and capture of this nice bird , We`ve one on a nest about 7 feet from our living room window in the back yard. Busy with feed the younger.Fav.

@happypat Thanks Pat -- getting low is not in my style these days ,I am aftaid !! (I'd never get up !!) The tree must be approx. 18ft high !! --a monstrosity !! so it was pointing up to the sky and shoot !!!
