The cooling tower

The Buildwas Power Station has become defunct earlier this year , and I wonder what will become of the three majestic cooling towers !! In my mind ,not a blot on the landscape but in future a part of our industrial history

I agree Beryl not always what you want to see on the skyline but I quite like the shape & colour of the warm brick. Is it worse than a couple of wind turbines?

In our area they usually demolish them! Yes they can be quite magnificent when seen on the horizon.
