The Amaryllis bulb and pot given to me on y birthday in December has started to come to life !! It has a long way to go before I will see it flowering -- but this is the beginning of a new life .
Today is a damp day with a very cold wind
I think they grow quite quickly so it will be interesting to watch! I do like bulbs growing at this time of the year, must see if there are any hyacinths tomorrow when I meet a friend for lunch.
@maggiemae I agree Maggiemae the last one I had was beautiful (a few years ago ! ) but I am not a very patient Person and rather heavy handed with the watering -- thank goodness it grows pretty fast !! I hope !!!!!
@wendyfrost -- Morning Wendy -- I am downstairs at 5 am !! aaargh ! The illustration on the box was a red with a white throat ! What about yours ? I wonder who's will flower first -- good luck with your plant !
