Marigold or Calendula

This old time favourite is blooming in the garden while in another bed which I cleared last Autumn I have new seedlings starting to grow there !
Mix bag of a day -- My friend Pat came for our weekly coffee and chat this morning ! After lunch I took Alfie for his annual check up, inoculations and kennel cough . He gets so worried with his tail between his legs at the mention of going to the vets ,and was so happy to come home again and sleep it off !
